Stuart's Daily Word Spot: Caboodle

on Thursday, November 3, 2011

Caboodle: noun - slang from US – usually in the form of 'the whole kit and caboodle'; the whole set or lot, everything, everyone.

'When the sled overturned and plunged headlong into the crevasse, everything went with it and we lost the whole kit and caboodle.'
